Blue Wall Group, Inc. is a non-profit organization providing support and facilities for artists in rural Northern Greenville and Pickens Counties.
We are based at Slater-Marietta Arts Center, which houses the Emerging Artists Gallery, dance studio, music rooms and conference / community meeting room, and where we teach classes and sell the work of artists - all under one roof!
The name the Cherokee gave to the area we live in was Under the Blue Wall. And we like Blue Man Group... so ...

Kathy Barefoot- Aromatherapy and Herbs
Kathy will give a talk about different herbs, aromatherapy and how you can use herbs in your daily life. We will make a balm for your gardening hands.
March 14th 6:00-8:30 pm class limit is 20
Michelle Wade from The Trail Potter in TR
Herb Markers from a clay slab construction. We will surface, incise and glaze from constructed slabs of clay. Everyone gets to make three different garden markers.
April 11th-6:00-8:30 class limit is 15
Debbie Wilson- An open weave garlic basket. Make a little 4-5” garlic basket for your kitchen. This is an open weave pattern out of round reed. Debbie is an experienced basket weaver who can teach you how to twine and make a border on the edge of your basket.
May 28th-6:00-8:30 class limit is 20
April Morris of The Wiggle Room, will instruct everyone in an 11”x 14” Acrylic painting. A garden Theme will be subject of choice. April can teach ANYONE to paint, so come on out for a fun night.
We thought the roof repairs were done until last weeks downpour. But no; so until we get that fixed, weekly classes are on hold, Sorry, folks! We hope to be back in the near future. The same goes for Art Camp 2013.
Plans under way for a fundraising campaign to get the building back into shape. Watch this space!
The two off-road spaces are reserved for handicapped access. Curbside parking is available around BWG (except where marked by signs). The parking spaces in front of the post office and Family Foothills are available after office hours
